The internet role in education

[image:education, by(gotcredit), licensee CC]

In today’s society, the internet has become a very important learning tool. It is used for day to day activities, such as a place to look up research, a method of getting in touch with friends and family, and somewhere to go to find information about almost anything imaginable. The most popular use of the internet include entertainment and education. Many people ague that the internet should be used for educational purposes only. 342

The internet has a very valuable resource when it comes to education, but I don’t think it should just be limited to that idea. There are many other important qualities the internet possesses. The internet is now used to run businesses, and keep personal business files online. The traditional education environment is starting to implement new ways to teach students with the rapid development of technology. The internet contains a wealth of knowledge that is available instantly upon any search. Because of this, the internet has superseded libraries as a source for information gathering and research. Many teachers will now ask students to visit specific websites to study from home and online. The variety of sources allows students to pursue subjects in much greater detail rather than being limited to whatever the teacher sends home.

Access to the internet Is fundamental to achieving this vision for the future. It can improve the quality of education in many ways. It opens doorways to a wealth of information, knowledge and educational resources, increasing opportunities for learning in and beyond classrooms. Teachers use online materials to prepare lessons, and students to extend their knowledge. Interactive teaching methods, supported by the internet, enable teachers to give more attention to individual students’ needs and supports shared learning. This can help to rectify inequalities in education experienced by garland women. Access to the internet helps educational administrators to reduce the cost and improve the quality of schools and colleges.

The internet is not, of course, the answer to every challenge poised by education. National policies that draw together experience in both education and technology, within different countries national contexts, are essential if the internets’ contribution to education is to be maximised. The success of the internet in education will be measured by educational outcomes: improvements in students attainments, job opportunities and contribution to national development.

The internet from my eyes

@benitezfilm

Since the day I discovered the internet my life changed completely. The internet has turned our existence upside down, It has revolutionized communications, to the point that is our preferred communication. For me the internet is life. It is an endless circle that my life revolves around. The first thing I do when I wake up is see the internet, I see something funny I modify it using the web. If I need to learn how to do something, I just use the internet. It’s like life can’t go without the internet. It has made our life much more easier, due to all the things we can just do here instead of going places, for example; these days we don’t go to the a travel agency to book our flights we just go to the internet and buy it from there. The internet now acts as a one stop guide to all the information about fashion, lifestyle, trends and many more things.

Most people these days have become heavy users of the internet. Its has been an awesome technological advancement that has revolutionized the way we do things. The internet has certainly impacted our lives, and the way we did things in the past is now different to this day, most people including me cannot live without It, nor could know life that did not have it.

These changes often lead people to question “is it all for good?” the internet has changed the way we do close to everything, and with people questioning what their lives would be like without it, it makes us wonder, What are the negative effects the internet had for us. It becomes pretty obvious that people spend hours and hours on the internet and this could have serious health effects; people have often died from spending days in front of computer. There are thing like back problems and eye sight problems that can also develop but people don’t want to talk about; or people becoming so attached to the internet that they no longer socially interact with the things around them. All this problems have developed with the rise of the internet. Aside from all the great thing the internet has achieved, there’re still these things to look out for.
